Bakers Farm

The property is an unusual stone built farmhouse which had been the subject of an earlier block built extension which was completely out of keeping with the existing dwelling. We were instructed by our clients' to design an extension which would be sympathetic to the original farmhouse. The single/two storey extension was designed to be located on the rear of the house once the substandard extension had been removed. Our design resulted in a nomination for the Best Domestic Extension in the South East category at the Local Authority Building Control Awards 2010, after being suggested by Tandridge District Council's Building Control Department.
